Junior Logistics Operation Manager (m/f/d)

As a Junior Logistics Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our line haul forwarders and last-mile carriers across Europe, ensuring they meet service level agreements (SLAs) and continuously improving delivery performance to enhance the customer experience. You will collaborate with multiple departments to implement operational initiatives across various carriers and forwarders, mitigate risks, and elevate Westwing’s delivery standards, ultimately providing exceptional service to our customers. This position is unlimited and located in Robakowo.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• oversee line haul & last mile operations, manage daily truck departures and deliveries, monitoring key metrics and resolving issues to maintain performance
• primary contact for carriers, handle day-to-day communications with line haul and last-mile carriers, ensuring seamless operations and escalating issues as needed
• manage last mile forecasts, prepare delivery forecasts, keeping carriers informed of expected volumes and special requirements
• handle delivery claims, process claims for missed, delayed, or damaged deliveries, tracking resolutions with carriers
• review freight invoices, validate and approve freight invoices to ensure accuracy and timely payments
• support all sales channels, assist with fast-track and premium deliveries, ensuring smooth execution and reporting
• collaborate across teams, work with Logistics, Delivery Excellence, and Customer Care teams to improve efficiency and service quality

YOU COME WITH

• university degree in Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
• first experience in logistics (line haul, last mile logistics, or supply chain operations), or equivalent experience
• strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and manage external and internal stakeholders
• hands-on mentality and a proactive, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving in fast-paced environments
• data-driven mindset: Ability to analyze and work with diverse data sets to drive optimal outcomes and improve delivery processes is a plus
• fluency in Polish and English, both written and spoken, additional languages are a big plus
