Job Overview:

The DevSecOps Engineer is responsible for the successful installation and deployment of the IRIS software suite. He also provides technical support and troubleshooting assistance to Deployment Leads and Project Managers.

What you do:

• Infrastructure Management:

  • Creation and management of cloud and on-premise infrastructure.
  • Experience with containers and container orchestration tools.

• Software Architecture and Deployment:

  • Architecting, deploying, and troubleshooting software applications.
  • Responsible for deployment and configuration of applications as needed.

• System Administration and Security:

  • System administration, development, testing, and security.
  • Ensuring systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats.

• Build and Release Management:

  • Manage the build process of all modules to be included in a single release.
  • Design and configure continuous integration build systems through collaboration with development and IT teams.

• Documentation and Guides:

  • Document, prepare, and maintain installation guides for all system-related modules.

• Stakeholder Communication:

  • Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developers.

• Code Testing and Analysis:

  • Testing and examining code written by others and analyzing results.
  • Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and fixes.

• Collaboration and Process Adherence:

  • Work with software developers and engineers to ensure development follows established processes and works as intended.

• Project Management:

  • Planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions.

What you bring

• Educational Background:

  • BS degree or higher in computer-related fields.

• Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer or in a similar software engineering role.

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Good knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
  • Strong understanding of "Infrastructure as Code" DevOps tools.
  • Proficiency with Git and GitHub workflows.
  • Working knowledge of databases and SQL.
  • Knowledge of programming languages.
  • Strong knowledge of microservices architecture.

• Communication and Interpersonal Skills:

  • Very good command of English language skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

• Legal and Physical Requirements:

  • Legally permitted to work in the country of operations.
  • Physically fit to carry out duties and responsibilities.

  • Understanding and appreciation for the software development lifecycle.
  • Expertise in software management and confidence in discussing product/project processes.
