Digital Asset Business Lead

Digital Asset Business Lead

[24 months, fixed term contract]

As the Digital Asset Business Lead you will report to the Head of Digital Assets and have overall responsibility for creating, planning, implementing and monitoring the direction and performance for a Digital Asset – a customer-facing platform (app, widget or chat bot). The main purpose of the role is to take business lead for defining and evolving product/features concepts in the cross-segments area and to drive the overall asset global growth with digital health services behind

the successful candidate should have ideally combines 3 areas of expertise:

  1. 40% Business: understanding of commercial aspect of marketing (eg. go to market strategy) and can read numbers (analytical skills), so the person can understand the business performance of a digital asset (eg. mobile app) and grow it
  2. 40% Project Management: understanding the complexity of projects, cross-departmental dependencies, potential risks and mitigation, end-to-end ownership of delivery with a very strong to-do attitude
  3. 20% Technical: exposure to working with (not for!) IT teams, ideally on the business side. I am not looking for candidates with pure and only experience being Product Owners, Business Analysts or IT developers.

What you do:

  • Market and Industry Analysis:

    • Monitor and coordinate market and industry trends.
    • Benchmark solutions for research and development of new concepts and ideas.
    • Contribute to asset evolution and identify best practices for digital assets.
  • Ownership and Development:

    • Take end-to-end ownership for building Proof of Concepts (POCs), business models, cases, roadmaps, and plans.
    • Drive business performance, utilization, and monetization opportunities for digital assets within Allianz Partners and beyond.
    • Integrate digital assets as standalone or as part of the e-health ecosystem.
  • Customer-Centric Design:

    • Map and align with omni-channel objectives to design customer-centric journeys.
    • Conceptualize conversational flows and ensure a first-class experience for digital assets.
    • Maintain delivery timelines and qualitative outcomes.
  • Solution Translation and Efficiency:

    • Translate business unit needs into tangible solutions.
    • Ensure cost efficiency and high-quality assurance in an agile environment.
  • Relationship Management:

    • Manage relationships with other departments and business units.
    • Act as an ambassador for digital assets within Allianz Partners and beyond.
  • Collaboration and Strategy Alignment:

    • Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Delivery Leads, and Product Managers.
    • Align tasks with corporate and departmental strategy, OKRs, and goals.
  • Go-to-Market and Performance Monitoring:

    • Support in creating and executing go-to-market plans.
    • Set business performance criteria and KPIs.
    • Monitor and analyze performance reports and customer feedback for improvement recommendations.

What you bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in a product management role
  • Holds a university degree in Business Administration (or similar)
  • Digital Product Management and UX/Product Transformation:

    • Experience in launching and scaling digital products.
    • Demonstrated ability in transforming user experience (UX) and product offerings.
  • Campaign Optimization:

    • Skilled in delivering and optimizing marketing campaigns.
    • Utilizes behavioral data and customer profile data for campaign strategies.
  • Analytics and AI:

    • Understanding of analytics and data science.
    • Familiarity with AI technologies such as Natural Language Processing (NLP), Large Language Models (LLM), Machine Learning (ML), and Prompt Engineering.
  • Industry Knowledge:

    • Knowledge of digital health ecosystems.
    • Understanding of the insurance sector.
  • Legal Work Authorization:

    • Legally permitted to work in the UAE.
  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficient in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
    • Strong internet navigation and research skills.
  • Agile and Scrum Methodology:

    • Experience working in agile environments.
    • Familiarity with scrum methodology.
