What you will enjoy doing

• This is a fantastic opportunity to be a member of the Business Development team within the Hospitalcare business, contributing to the development of a high performing and high visibility business, driving sales and business development activities for all healthcare customers large and small
• Within the role you will have the opportunity to achieve business growth of approx. £1.3 million pounds from an established customer base
• You will drive not only sales but also business defence working with our extensive portfolio of established Lifeline customers, this unique product portfolio will provide valuable insight into a key part of the Healthcare business
• In addition, you will work closely alongside the Healthcare Product Management team and conduct dynamic sales campaigns that drive additional revenue across the medical product range
• Support, advise and process orders for our INO (Inhaled Nitric Oxide) business providing a valuable insight into BOC’s clinical presence within the NHS Marketplace
• You will also have the unique opportunity to work alongside the Lifeline Resuscitation Specialists and thefleet to co-ordinate customer contact, agreeing installation and delivery dates
• Furthermore, the training and support provided within this role will enable the successful applicant to become a industry expert, providing the ability to provide our wide customer base with the technical and safety advice needed to meet our customers needs
• You will also have the exciting opportunity of working in co-ordination with the wider Healthcare business to identify and implement continual process & performance improvements in supplying the healthcare sector - including the use of tools such as salesforce.com
• Finally, you will have the chance to be introduced to and sell a range of BOC’s new digital products and solutions, incorporating market leading digital cylinders

• Excellent communication skills over the telephone and livechat, allowing you to have in depth discussions with customers showcasing BOC’s product and service offerings
• In addition, integral to this role will be the ability and confidence to deal with confrontation at times and handle customer objections
• You are able to work as part of a team, understanding that different individuals have different needs and to demonstrate the ability to support one another to strengthen overall team performance, with the ability to also understand the Customers and business needs
• Furthermore, as the industry expert, you will need to use your indepth knowledge to provide support on the delivery and application of medical gases, assisting customers in understanding proper usage, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and to offer educational resources and proactive support
• You are a proactive and self-motivated learner, especially in utilising CRM systems and proficiency in the use of technology like Sales Force
