Your Role
The warehouse manager will manage & lead the warehouse operation team to ensure everyone in the team is focused on QSHE, Continuous improvement and customer centricity, exhibiting KN behaviours consistently to deliver shipments on-time, in good order and work collaboratively with all with all other physical operations (Gateway & Transport) to achieve the shared aim of consistently excellent service delivery.
Your Responsibilities
Ensure that both internal systems – Workday and People hubis completed for all colleagues in a timely manner and reviewed/actioned regularly.
Carry out performance and annual reviews with all colleaguesin line with Company procedure, setting objectives, agreeing clear IDP’s and reviewing both twice ayear as minimum
Effectively people manage and carry out procedures relatingto absence management and general operational HR administrative duties
Ensure that all available resources (people and equipment)are utilised to maximum effect in order to achieve the key objectives of the role.
Be proactive and engage team in all activities relating tothe KN Wellbeing (EX) initiative
Ensure priority shipments are tracked, monitored andprocessed in line with the agreed SLA
Accurate update of database records – Customers to receiveaccurate stockholding details Manage and coordinate inventory checks asrequired
Ensure the warehouse operates in full compliance to relevantISO 9001 standards, K+N Quality Management System and any customer specificrequirements.
Create and maintain an environment for continuousimprovement and ensure all processes, space and workload are planned to achievefull efficiency / optimization.
Your Skills and Experiences
Excellent knowledge of airfreight warehousing
Knowledge of government regulations in regards to Air Freight storage and transit cargo.
Understanding of KNQSHE processes, requirements and formats
Good presentationskills – used to speak in front of an audience (predominantly internal)
Coaching and mentoring
Fluent in English
Strong personal drive and resilience
Proactive approach tomanagement of resources and issues
Customer focused with a proven record of meeting andexceeding customer expectations
Must be forward thinking and flexible
