We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and conscientious candidate to fill a crucial role in our Warehouse team, on a permanent basis (45 hours per week).

Your Role

Your Responsibilities

• To complete all duties relating to warehousing with attention to detail, including handling of perishable product
• Use your knowledge and understanding of international regulatory requirements to ensure country specific legal requirements are adhered to
• Checking documentation against cargo received
• Ensuring excellent customer service (internal and external)
• Labelling of cargo against paperwork
• Loading of cargo as per container specifications
• Checking in, counting and measuring cargo
• General cleaning duties and maintenance of cargo handling facility

Your Skills and Experiences

• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a freight warehousing environment
• A current forklift licence
• An understanding of Health and Safety in a warehouse environment
• Experience with inwards/outwards goods processes and documentation is preferred
• Good level of communication both written and verbal
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office applications
• Weekend work and flexible start/finish times will be required.
  
  Skills and experience (preferred however not essential)
• Perishables experience is advantageous, however not essential
• A current biosecurity accreditation is preferred but not essential
• A current load and restraint certificate is preferred but not essential
