Mechanical & Plastics Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical & Plastics Engineer to join our team in Grodzisk Mazowiecki. This role will support mechanical issues related to plastic parts used in thermostats and accessories, provide expertise in extrusion processes, and assist in creating and modifying AutoCAD drawings for various tasks. The ideal candidate will also contribute to other tasks as part of our dynamic and collaborative team environment.

Job Responsibilities

At this position you will:

• Provide mechanical support for plastic components used in thermostats and accessories, including tolerance modifications and design improvements.
• Assist in the creation, review, and modification of AutoCAD drawings for various engineering and production tasks.
• Offer expertise in extrusion processes, ensuring optimal material performance and manufacturing efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve design and production challenges.
• Support the agile team in other technical and engineering-related tasks as required.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and company quality guidelines.

Background & Skills

Educational Background:

• Degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related technical field.

Experience:

• Experience with plastic part design, manufacturing, and tolerance analysis.
• Familiarity with thermostat or accessory manufacturing is a plus.
• Experience with injection molding and extrusion is highly preferred.

Skills and Competencies:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant CAD software.
• Strong understanding of extrusion processes and their application in plastic component manufacturing.
• Ability to work in an agile and cross-functional team environment.
• Problem-solving mindset with strong analytical skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements related to plastic component design and manufacturing.
• Good English allowing smooth spoken and written communication
