The New York Red Bulls are one of 30 teams in Major League Soccer (MLS). RBNY, one of the ten charter clubs of MLS, have competed in the league since its founding in 1996. The Red Bulls play home matches at Sports Illustrated Stadium (SIS) in Harrison, New Jersey. The three-time MLS Supporters' Shield Winners are owned by the Austrian beverage company Red Bull for which the team is named. The New York Red Bulls offer one of the nation's premier youth soccer development programs, from local soccer partnerships across New York and New Jersey to Regional Development Schools and the Red Bulls Academy teams.

Purpose of this job

The Coach Development Coordinator will support the recruitment, education, and operations of Red Bulls Youth coaching staff. This includes balancing office and field-based coaching, administrative support, of-field coach development and education. You will be the primary coach development and education contact for Red Bulls Youth coaching staff supporting Red Bulls standards of highest quality client service. You will help manage educational, operational, and logistical elements to ensure successful execution of all programming. This is a part-time position and available in New Jersey and New York locations.

Job Description

• Assist in educating and managing coaching staff to ensure that the organization is represented consistently within the local youth soccer market.
• Help with managing the quality, accuracy, and delivery of training sessions. Provide feedback and on-field support to coaches and assist with planning and delivery of education meetings.
• Provide coach operational support, including orientation logistics, education events and uniform and equipment tracking and distribution
• Educate, audit, and track Red Bulls Youth coaches' administrative work on a weekly basis.
• Recruit part-time coaching staff and assist in all recruitment efforts.
• Your weekly schedule will consist of approximately twenty (20) administration hours and nine (9) on-field coaching hours during the winter, spring and fall seasons and an average of fifteen (15) administration hours and fifteen (15) on-field coaching hours during the summer season.

Qualifications

• Preferred minimum of USSF C License or USC Advanced National.
• One year's experience as a coach educator.
• Understanding of the season-to-season youth soccer market.
• Detail oriented and well organized.

Because of the cyclical nature of the entertainment industry, your assigned hours may vary to reflect our needs (includes nights and weekends).

The base hourly range for this position is $43- $53 in addition to an hourly admin rate of $27. Actual hourly rate offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
