Report Developer

Job Function:

To develop streamlined and automated reporting and help evolve our Power BI reporting platform.

As a trusted data expert, you’ll be responsible for maintaining data quality, implement best practice for data governance and ensure consistency in reporting across the group. You will support key stakeholders in providing clear and accurate reporting that offer insights that empower business decisions.

Core Duties:

Data:

• Data systems – work closely with IT and Finance to streamline data workflows and improve data collection utilising new technologies
  
• Data quality – monitor and maintain data accuracy, ensuring discrepancies are dealt with and implement data validation processes.
  
• Data Compliance – worth with IT to ensure compliance with GDPR and maintain data security protocols

Reporting:

• Maintaining our existing suite of business reports and development of new reporting, ensuring that our reports are timely, accurate, and insightful.
  
• Supporting the roll-out of our Power BI platform, helping to unlock the full potential of our data and provide powerful visualisations and insights to our teams.
  
• The go-to person for ad hoc information requests, providing a one version of the truth, and supporting our Finance team in driving standardisation and accuracy across the group.
  
• Providing our business teams with appropriate analytical data and insight, helping them to make informed decisions and drive growth.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Data analysis tools and techniques using advanced data tools e.g., Excel, Power Query, SQL, DAX, Power BI
  
• Experience of API integration
  
• Understanding of relational databases
  
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
  
• MS Office super user
  
• BI ‘user’ skillset and strong ability to manipulate data.
  
• Experience of working alongside IT and Finance teams managing multiple projects and dependencies
