What you will enjoy doing
As our Senior Finance Systems & Process Manager Germany you will be entrusted with setup, management and collaboration in projects in Finance, Controlling and Accounting
The project teams will be multidisciplinary with members from IT, Finance, Contract Management and the operative business units in Germany and collaborate on new implementations as well as optimization, digitalization and automation of systems/tools, processes and reports for Finance
Working in these projects you will be required to cover all areas of project management, including functional process analysis, design & documentation, reporting on status, planning, risks & mitigation towards the Steering Committees, as well as training and change-management
You will act as the single point of contact with regards to Accounting master data and its quality management as well as the SAP module FI/CO, also in the context of SAP S/4HANA implementation
In close collaboration you consult all Accounting departments regarding preparation, evaluation and documentation of functional requirements and their technical implications
You will be the main speaking partner for Linde IT, Sales & Procurement on problems and their implication on existing Finance & Accounting processes and interfaces
In a strategic partnership you collaborate with theoperating business units in Germany, Region Europe West and EMEA on Best Practice solutions aswell as implementation of future applications/processes in the area of Finance andAccounting
You are able tocollect, interpret and use data effectively, driving digital transformation
What makes you great
You possess a university diploma in Business Economics, Business Application Management or a comparable degree with additional qualification in SAP environment or web-based applications
and were able to gain minimum 5 years of professional experience in the fields of Business Process/Business Application Management, ideally coupled with experience as Management/IT Consultant or Process Consultant, know-how in Agile / SCRUM- project management methodology
In addition, you’ve built up several years of experience in in leading small project teams or taking on disciplinary leadership roles
To act as a facilitator between the finance teams and business partners and with that to prepare and communicate complex processes and facts while balancing the varying interests of individual stakeholders at the same time is something you enjoy
You are an expert in SAP FI/CO and have a good knowledge of SAP modules MM and SD, with focus on their integration with SAP FI/CO
Your very good proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneNote) is combined with an understanding of/experience in process modelling can be of advantage (e.g. MS Visio, ARIS)
Moreover, you are proactive, self-motivated and can anticipate and move quickly between diverse demands You enjoy working on innovative, creative solutions with changing teams
Furthermore, you possess an excellent command of English and the ability to communicate, both written and spoken, in German
You are willing to engage in regional travel (Germany/EuropeWest – up to 20%)
