Your Role
Kuehne+Nagel’s Knowledge Center for General Ledger and Reporting in Warsaw is responsible for financial services across European countries. As a Team Lead, you will manage a team of seven specialists, oversee financial accounting and reporting, and drive continuous process optimization. You will also play a key role in transferring additional financial processes to the Knowledge Center, collaborating with country finance teams and corporate reporting functions.
Your Responsibilities
Lead and develop a team of accounting professionals, ensuring motivation and high performance.
Oversee the monthly closing process, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to deadlines.
Prepare and review financial statements in collaboration with national finance teams.
Validate financial data and ensure compliance with IFRS and corporate accounting policies.
Support national finance teams in reporting and internal control processes.
Drive process improvements and implement innovative solutions for efficiency.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance financial reporting accuracy.
Mentor team members, fostering a culture of knowledge-sharing and continuous learning.
Your Skills and Experiences
University / Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Minimum of 2-5 years of leadership experience in an international financial environment.
Strong background in general ledger accounting and financial reporting.
Proven ability to manage, develop, and engage a high-performing team.
Experience in a business service center environment is a plus.
Solid knowledge of IFRS and corporate financial guidelines.
Proficiency in English (B2/C1) and Polish; additional European languages are a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mindset.
Practical knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
