Location: Wiesbaden

Key responsibilities:

  • Monitor the operation, data accuracy, and relationships between the Defense Civilian Personnel Data System [DCPDS] and the Defense Civilian Payroll System to identify trends and causal factors related to pay discrepancies.
  • Review automated processes to ensure compliance with applicable pay laws, regulations, and procedures
  • Develop and improve these processes to ensure an efficient workflow
  • Conduct specific studies and projects addressing salary issues
  • Research, evaluate and resolve various customer inquiries and prepare correspondence
  • Liaison to the payroll department for US Army internal activities throughout the European area of responsibility
  • Investigate and resolve payroll issues

Qualification:

  • Minimum requirement: Successfully completed lower secondary school diploma
  • Several years of professional experience in a similar function
  • Structured and very precise way of working as well as a high affinity for numbers
  • Business fluent in German and English (level C2)
  • Confident handling of Microsoft Office
  • Team spirit, flexibility and pleasure in working independently
  • If you are selected for this position, you must obtain a U.S. Army internal financial certification (FMC02) within two years of entering service
