Key responsibilities:
Monitor the operation, data accuracy, and relationships between the Defense Civilian Personnel Data System [DCPDS] and the Defense Civilian Payroll System to identify trends and causal factors related to pay discrepancies.
Review automated processes to ensure compliance with applicable pay laws, regulations, and procedures
Develop and improve these processes to ensure an efficient workflow
Conduct specific studies and projects addressing salary issues
Research, evaluate and resolve various customer inquiries and prepare correspondence
Liaison to the payroll department for US Army internal activities throughout the European area of responsibility
Investigate and resolve payroll issues
Qualification:
Minimum requirement: Successfully completed lower secondary school diploma
Several years of professional experience in a similar function
Structured and very precise way of working as well as a high affinity for numbers
Business fluent in German and English (level C2)
Confident handling of Microsoft Office
Team spirit, flexibility and pleasure in working independently
If you are selected for this position, you must obtain a U.S. Army internal financial certification (FMC02) within two years of entering service
