We are seeking a professional and organised Front Office employee to join our team in Amsterdam, Netherlands. As the first point of contact for our organisation, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive impression for visitors, clients, and colleagues alike.
Greet and direct visitors, ensuring a warm and professional welcome
Manage incoming phone calls, emails, and correspondence efficiently
Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for executives and meeting rooms
Handle administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry
Coordinate travel arrangements and process expense reports when required
Assist with basic accounting tasks, such as processing invoices and maintaining records
Ensure the reception area and meeting rooms are tidy and well-presented at all times
Liaise with various departments to facilitate smooth communication and operations
Provide general support to the office team as needed

Qualifications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
Strong customer service orientation with a professional and friendly demeanour
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
Problem-solving skills and the ability to take initiative
Basic accounting knowledge
Fluency in English; Dutch language skills are highly desirable
1-2 years of experience in a front office or receptionist role
Secondary school diploma or equivalent; a diploma in hospitality or business administration is preferred
Exceptional organisational skills with keen attention to detail
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
