Studentenjob: Working Student – Business Planning & Data Science (m/f/d) – Berlin

€17.00 per hour · Part-time (up to 20 hours/week)

Do you have a Bachelor's degree Statistics, Economics, Advanced Analytics, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Decision Sciences or Computer Science and looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, international company? In collaboration with our partner company, we are looking for highly motivated working students to support the business planning team.

Your tasks:

Business Planning

• Work with internal stakeholders to explore and understand business data
• Formulate and test hypotheses to evaluate business strategies and measure impact
• Learn and apply complex analytical techniques on large data sets to identify patterns, insights and opportunities to improve operational accuracy and demand/supply balancing
• Generate visualizations, technical reports and presentations to communicate the process and results
• Applying the most advanced techniques, such as Gradient Boosting, Causal Inference, Mathematical Optimization, Dimensionality reduction, Time Series forecasting, and more.

Your profile:

• You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Economics, Advanced Analytics, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Decision Sciences, Computer Science
• Intern or work experience with Predictive Analytics, Pattern Recognition, or Data Mining/Data Analysis preferred
• Solid background in Python or R, Matlab with experience in libraries such as Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch or similar frameworks
• Familiarity with data preprocessing, cleaning & transformation for Model Training
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent English skills (German is not required)
