What you will enjoy doing

• In this role, you will lead the Customer Engineering Service (CES) and Project Engineering teams to successfully complete engineering projects, develop technical offers, draft installation documents and to effectively support the sales teams in meeting the customer requirements, adhering to Linde’s safety and operational standards
• Additionally, you will identify service delivery challenges, and you will monitor, assess, and report on customer service metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs), aiming at measuring success, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing proactive solutions to mitigate risks and to ensure customer satisfaction and engagement
• Furthermore, you will lead, motivate, and coach the Customer Engineering Services (CES) team to collaborate closely with sales, procurement, logistics, and other cross-functional teams, aiming at delivering exceptional and seamless service quality and experience to the customers
• Also, manage the delivery of CES maintenance activities, on both own-assets and 3rd party contracted equipment, and the installations of bulk gas storage systems on customer sites, in accordance with Linde Safety standards, Service Level Agreements targets (SLAs) and within budget
• Lastly, you will ensure compliance with authority permissions, legal requirements and Linde Health & Safety standards

What makes you great

• You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, from a Technical University, an MBA will be considered an asset
• In addition, you possess minimum of 5 years of working experience in project and service management in industrial sectors, such as Oil & Gas, Food Manufacturing, Metallurgy, Medical Equipment etc.
• Moreover, you demonstrate the ability to lead engineers and technical teams, and you possess very good people management skills, being able to motivate, coach and delegate effectively, as well as to foster teamwork and collaboration
• Furthermore, you have customer service-orientation and very good stakeholder management skills, being able to prioritize and manage, effectively and efficiently, multiple projects and teams, simultaneously, in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Also, you demonstrate very good project management skills, being able to ensure project delivery against key operational and financial KPIs, project timeframes and abiding by Linde Safety standards, while being able to work under pressure and within a tightly regulated work environment, where process and procedural compliance is essential
• Additionally, you are able to travel frequently for customer visits, meetings, and project-related activities
• Lastly, you have excellent command of the English language, working knowledge of SAP and MS Office suite and experience in Computer Aided Design (CAD) programs (Microsoft Visio, Autocad, etc.)
