Job Summary

Lead and supervise the development of a total quality environment with an emphasis on customer satisfaction and continual quality improvement. Accomplish quality related objectives through the use of quality meetings, planning, training, statistics and internal/external audits. Ensure that processes and products are in compliance with current implemented Quality Management System requirements. Maintain and drive process improvement for the required branch Quality (ISO/IATF/Other) certifications.

Job Description

Key Accountabilities:

• Coordinates Quality (ISO/IATF/AS/Others) Standards and Audits.

• Develop and implement standard operating processes and procedures.

• Acts as the main coordinator for Corrective Actions and Continuous Quality Improvements within specific branches

• Monitor established Quality KPI’s and implement changes where required to improve branch quality.

• Work with the Branch General Manager to establish goals, assess competency and direct quality output in line with the established Quality Objectives.

• Conduct customer site visits where requested and coordinate proper quality review of new parts and processes.

• Conduct supplier and processor audits based on need or supplier performance.

• Work with branch General Manager to ensure:

  • Quality Assurance planning.

  • Customer and vendor claims and trend analysis.

  • Statistical techniques for process control.

  • Document major customer quality requirements and ensure the plant and/or processor are aware of unique requirements

  • Perform internal audits with GM/PM. Review with Corporate Quality Manager to ensure branch meets CPG Quality Goals. This can be done virtually or on-site depending on need and circumstances.

  • Provide internal and external technical assistance.

  • Training and Development of employees in the areas of:

    • New Employee training and onboarding – Coordinated with Safety and OpX.

    • Quality procedures and processes

• Corrective/Preventative Action activities

• Meets TKMNA Employee Attributes / Competencies.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

• BA or 5 years’ experience in Quality Assurance/Control

• Experience in TQM, ISO/IATF/Other Quality Certifications

• One year management experience

Preferred Requirements:

• ISO Lead Auditor Certification

• Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC)

• Six Sigma Training

• Experience with SAP ERP System

• 5 years plus Quality Assurance/Control experience.

• 3 years management experience, leadership and team building training
