Bank Accounting Expert (m/f/d)

Job Purpose/Role:

• Full responsibility for the bank accounting area, including the oversight of the cash-related suspense accounts. In this context, there will be a junior colleague and several external suppliers involved for operational support
• Carryout of part of the monthly and quarterly closing activities
• Operational support with intra-branch and intercompany invoicing processes
• Support in AR/ AP related tasks
• Support in M&A projects whenever bank integration is involved

Qualifications/Key skills:

• University degree in mathematics, business administration, business engineering or comparable
• At least 5 years of working experience in a comparable role
• Fluent in business English. Business proficiency in German is also very welcome
• Extensive experience with SAP FI S/4. Knowledge of S/4 Hana is a plus
• Good understanding of how the insurance business works is a plus
• Good understanding of accounting principles, with specific focus on bank accounting

Education & Experience:

• Extensive experience in the use of SAP
• Good financial expertise with focus on bank accounting with capability to manage state of the art financial processes
• Very sharp analytical and conceptual skills
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with attention to detail
• Team spirit, a demonstrably thorough working style and ability to work under pressure
