Change Manager

Change Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Change Manager to join our team. Based out of the People and Culture function, this role is pivotal in driving transformational initiatives across Allianz Partners while fostering a culture of adaptability. This position offers a unique blend of strategic thinking, hands-on implementation, and stakeholder engagement at all levels, from employee to board member.

The successful candidate will work autonomously to provide change management expertise, develop organizational change capabilities, and support the ongoing Allianz Partners transformation journey.

What you do:

  • Change Management for transformation initiatives
    • Partner with project managers across functions and Lines of Business to design change approaches for transformation initiatives.
    • Provide hands-on change management support to ensure successful adoption of new organizational structures, processes, systems, and behaviors.
    • Collaborate with other functions (e.g. Communications, Learning & Development) to design and implement joint solutions for strategic transformation initiatives.
  • Change capability building and upskilling
    • Design and implement training programs to enable HR professionals, project managers, and people leaders to manage their own change initiatives.
    • Apply a change management framework, develop and distribute tools, templates, and resources to enable self-sufficient change management across Allianz Partners
    • Facilitate knowledge and best practice sharing sessions to strengthen internal change management expertise.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Leadership Support
    • Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, from employees to board members.
    • Act as a trusted advisor to leaders, providing guidance on change strategies and approaches.
    • Provide on-demand support, including designing and facilitating change workshops or interventions for specific functional or business needs.

What you bring:

  • Experience and Education
    • Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • 5-7 years of experience in change management, organizational development, or a similar role, ideally within business transformation contexts.
    • Proven track record of successfully managing change in complex, matrixed global organizations.
  • Key Competencies
    • Expertise in change management frameworks such as ADKAR, or similar methodologies.
    • Strong conceptual and strategic thinking capabilities with a pragmatic, hands-on approach to implementation.
    • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
    • Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Proficiency in facilitating workshops and delivering training programs.
    • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results under tight deadlines.
    • High emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills to build trust and influence stakeholders at all levels.
    • Ability to work effectively with diverse, multi-cultural teams and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Technical Skills
    • Familiarity with project management tools and techniques.
    • Business coaching training is a plus.
    • Proficiency in using digital tools for communication, collaboration, and content creation (e.g., MS Office Suite, collaboration platforms).
