Your Role as a Cash Management Specialist

As an essential member of our Cash Management Team in Zurich, you’ll work with a team of six experienced professionals, managing over 40 currencies across various accounts. Your daily responsibilities include processing all payment transactions, resolving complex issues, and communicating with clients, stakeholders, and counter-parties. You’ll have the opportunity to make an impact by actively enhancing the Straight Through Processing (STP) rate and streamlining processes through close collaboration with IT and cross-functional departments.

What would your role be?

• Process a range of payment transactions, including outgoing, incoming, and standing orders.
• Take ownership of investigation and claim management.
• Collaborate extensively with internal and external clients, providers, and service facilitators.
• Oversee daily liquidity and cash management for our correspondent banks.
• Handle FX and Money Market transactions.
• Conduct Repo trading on the SIX Trading Platform ‘CO:RE’
• Proactively contribute to process optimization and project implementation for new products.

What are we looking for?

• Experience: Solid background in banking, ideally with a commercial apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
• Skills: Familiarity with financial markets, payment services, and experience in Avaloq, SWIFT and SIX Platforms
• Mindset: A natural problem-solver with strong customer focus and a knack for building relationships.
• Attributes: Resilient, adaptable, quick-thinking, and a true team player with project management or process optimization experience.
• Languages: Fluent in German and at least conversational in English
