Turf Technician

Due to continued growth, Charlies Ag & turf is looking for a Turf Technician to join our busy team based at Coed Y Dinas, Welshpool.

The main purpose of the job is to carry out high standard diagnostics, servicing and repairs to John Deere and other turf/groundcare machinery equipment.

Key responsibilities:

• Service and maintain John Deere and other garden and commercial equipment to the manufacturers’ specifications.
• Repair and service machines to the agreed work plan to bring them up to the required standards.
• Inspect and test completed machines to ensure they are operating at expected performance levels.
• Ensure due care is given to customer and company property.
• Provide the best possible levels of customer service at all times.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience – knowledge and experience working on a variety of garden and commercial turf machinery
• Ability to interact with customers and develop/build a relationship that ultimately delivers a positive, satisfying experience
• Communication – ability to effectively communicate both internally and externally.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Present a professional image at all times
• A valid UK driving license is desirable
