Overall Objectives of Job:

The Product Owner role in Agile is responsible for the leadership of a squad or multiple squads, delivering IT products and services to Allianz Technology and Allianz OEs. The Service Delivery variant includes additional responsibility, ensuring the adherence for compliance and best practice to IT Service Management (ITSM) process functions, and the prioritisation of delivery commitments across the Tribe. This role serves as the primary point of contact for service operations, managing customer relationships and ensuring that services adhere to internal and external governance standards and service level commitments. Key responsibilities include overseeing end-to-end service operations, allocating priorities across the tribes squads, effectively ensuring the highest possible service delivery and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The role also encompasses resource and financial management, risk, compliance and security assurance, and the commitment to service transparency to the Service Owner and the business.

Qualification, Experience and Skills

• 10+ years of experience in IT industry
• Strong experience managing IT services within a management framework (e.g., ITIL), Technical experience in application management and/or architecture.
• Sound understanding of Agile practices, and their implementation in large organisations.
• ITIL Foundation Certification in IT Service Management, or equivalent experience.
• Degree in Financial, Business, IT or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities, and ability to manage across teams.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
