To support the depot parts manager to maximise sales, turnover, and profitability. Ensure customers, (internal and external) receive parts and goods in an efficient, timely and professional manner. Work within Company guidelines to facilitate a consistently high performing retail space providing exceptional customer experience and effective stock control.
Essential Duties:
Parts Department and Team:
Work as part of the team to ensure cover for absence and busy periods.
Ensure and maintain up-to-date product knowledge individually and for the team.
Drive an excellent team working ethos and a passion for team success.
Maintain organised, smooth-running parts departments that can effectively source and deliver parts.
Cover for the Depot Parts Manager as required
Logistics and Process:
Ensure all customer orders are satisfied in the appropriate time frame.
Ensure all customer orders are delivered to the Company’s standards in terms of appearance and quality.
Ensure smooth working practices by following parts’ processes, guidelines, and policies consistently, i.e. Receiving and distribution of goods, inventory management, in store up selling, returns, and warranties.
Propose and recommend changes and improvements through appropriate channels.
Retail Space:
Ensure the content of the retail areas is organised, clean, and safe to attract and appeal to customers.
Maximise the customer experience by ensuring:
Displays are well-placed, organised, and attractive
The teams deliver excellent customer service
Work with the team to find common ground and achieve Parts’ business goals.
Skills & Qualifications:
Experience in inspiring and motivating a team (remote and onsite),
Industry experience and familiar with relevant machinery and parts supply
Excellent communication skills
Proven selling and negotiation skills (including e-commerce)
Ability to analyse and interpret reports
Ability to use standard computer applications and internet functions
Flexible to work extended hours and weekends
A valid driving licence is required.
