Senior Content Strategist

We’re seeking a strategic, hands-on Senior Content Strategist to elevate our digital content across Siemens’ B2B industrial solutions platform. This role will partner closely with UX, Marketing, SEO and business-unit product marketing teams to craft cohesive, customer-centric narratives that drive engagement, clarity and conversion across our web properties.

You'll help define and implement content strategies that support complex buyer journeys—from awareness to consideration to conversion — across a global, multilingual audience. You’ll also be a key player in integrating SEO and taxonomy best practices to ensure content is findable, structured and performance driven.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain clear, user-centered content structures to increase site usability and consistency across digital experiences.
• Craft and evolve messaging frameworks that connect technical capabilities to customer value.
• Develop content journeys in partnership with product subject matter experts, UX and marketing to ensure seamless narrative flows.
• Conduct and apply insights from content audits, journey mapping, competitive research and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with SEO and taxonomy experts to ensure content discoverability and alignment with global governance.
• Create or oversee creation of content for web pages, resource centers and campaign hubs.
• Lead content strategy work for key projects and areas of the Siemens B2B digital ecosystem, aligning business goals with customer needs.
• Mentor content designers and strategists while fostering a culture of editorial excellence and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Proven professional experience in content strategy, UX writing or editorial roles—ideally within enterprise B2B, SaaS or industrial technology contexts.
• Demonstrated success crafting digital content strategies that drive measurable impact.
• Deep understanding of the B2B buyer journey, SEO principles and content performance metrics.
• Strong storytelling skills—especially when translating technical or complex topics into user-friendly narratives.
• Experience working cross-functionally with product, design, SEO, marketing and development teams.
• Familiarity with structured content systems, CMS platforms, localization workflows and taxonomies.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and presentation skills.
• A portfolio showcasing strategic thinking, writing samples and content system design (preferred).
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience leading larger, multi-faceted projects.

Preferred qualifications

• Background in industrial technology, engineering or manufacturing-related industries.
• Experience with mapping out page architectures and content structures based on audience and customer journey stages.
• Experience with content design systems and component-based authoring.
• Familiarity with Contentful, SEMrush, Confluence and Figma.

The salary range for this position is $101,900 to $183,400 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
