As the Strategy Team Lead, you will oversee the Strategy Office of Allianz Benelux, reporting directly to the Chief Transformation Officer as part of the CEO domain. You'll play a crucial role in navigating complex strategic topics, balancing day-to-day processes with ad-hoc CEO-priority initiatives, and steering the company’s strategic direction.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Support: Provide strategic analyses, market insights, and decision frameworks to the CEO and Board.
• Lead Strategic Cycles: Manage the Strategic Dialogue (SD) and Planning Dialogue (PD) across Allianz Benelux, ensuring alignment with Allianz Group.
• Translate Strategy into Action: Develop actionable roadmaps and programs, partnering with the Transformation and Portfolio Steering teams.
• Business Case Development: Support stakeholders with business case analyses and quality assurance.
• Reporting and Data Management: Collaborate with the CFO and Data Office to track execution against strategic targets.
• M&A and Market Intelligence: Steer M&A support and high-level reporting to Group stakeholders.
• Team Leadership: Lead, coach, recruit and develop the Strategy Office team members.

What we’re looking for?

To excel in this role, you bring relevant experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, or transformation roles, with a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in complex environments. Your experience in managing strategic planning cycles and engaging with executive-level stakeholders is complemented by a strong background in business case development, market analysis, and decision support. You are adept at navigating matrix organizations, ideally within insurance or financial services, and possess excellent communication, presentation and influence skills. A Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field is required, with an MBA or equivalent post-graduate qualification strongly preferred. Proficiency in English is essential in this role, skills in French and/or Dutch are helpful. Ability to utilize AI tools to support day-to-day tasks, improve effiency and contribute to data-drivent decision making
