Mona Tractors is looking for a skilled and passionate Agricultural Service Technician to join our busy and friendly team in Ruthin. If you love working on machinery, enjoy variety in your day, and take pride in delivering top-tier service to customers — we’d love to hear from you.

What You'll Do
As part of our expert service team, you’ll carry out diagnostics, repairs, and routine maintenance on a range of John Deere and other agricultural machinery — both in the workshop and out in the field. You'll also support our Aftermarket sales through professional service delivery and customer interaction.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair agricultural & turf machinery, including AMS (Ag Management Solutions) systems.

• Complete job cards, timesheets, and reports accurately.

• Carry out field-based repairs and on-site diagnostics.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.

• Set up new and used equipment for delivery.

• Participate in ongoing technical training & certification.

• Work with and support Service Specialists and the wider team.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years’ experience in machinery repair/service.

• Skilled in diagnostics and maintenance of mechanical, electrical & hydraulic systems.

• Comfortable with laptops, diagnostic tools & John Deere Service Advisor.

• Great communication & customer service skills.

• Able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.

• Familiarity with John Deere or similar brands preferred.

• Full UK driving licence is essential.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 4:30pm

• Saturday Rota: 8:00am – 12:00pm

• Participation in the on-call rota required.
