Working Student (f/m/d) Programmable Industrial Edge Networks Research Assistant

• You assist setting up and conducting measurements in our industrial edge network
• You enhance existing Python-based applications, such as our Network Controller
• You enjoy developing and improving automation tools using Ansible
• Our team conducts pioneering research in the field of programmable industrial networks

Use your skills to move the world forward.

• Currently you are enrolled in a relevant degree program like Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Communication Engineering or related field
• You have excellent communication skills and a creative writing style
• You possess basic knowledge of Linux operating systems, fundamental understanding of networking concepts and proficiency in Python programming
• You are able work independently and as part of a team and also have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• You bring experience with Bash, Rust, P4, or C programming languages
• You are familiar with Ansible, eBPF, or DPDK
• You have previous experience in network-related projects or research
