The Company's North America operations are located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Plymouth, Indiana, where we produce fruit and dairy preparations for a variety of customers including yogurt, ice cream and bakery manufacturers. We are currently looking for a Package Engineering Manager at our Philadelphia, PA or Plymouth, IN locations. This is an in-office position.

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Package Engineering Manager to lead our new packaging function. This role will be instrumental in driving growth and innovation through advanced packaging solutions that meet tailored customer needs. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of various packaging formats, material structures, taking ideas from concept to commercialization and manufacturing equipment. This is a unique opportunity to build and grow a team that will play a critical role in our company's success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement packaging strategies that align with company goals and drive innovation.
• Lead the design, development, and commercialization of new packaging solutions that deliver value driven functionality for our customers.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners, including copackers and engineering teams.
• Manage packaging projects from concept through to commercialization, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
• Conduct research and stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with quality requirements and company standards.

Core Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of packaging formats, material structures, and manufacturing equipment.
• Proven ability to develop and execute packaging strategies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a self-starter mentality.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) and Business-to-Business (B2B) environments.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and with external partners.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and develop a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
